Black Chrome Headlights :)
I traded my old metallic black headlights to someone who really really liked them. I've been running stock headlights for the past 2 months. I noticed the other day that the passenger was an 05-06 with the amber cover on the turn signal. The driver side was an 07+ w/o the amber corner. So I got a crazy idea to try something new. What do you think? Anyone want to guess how it was done?

Dub, Ex was saying he has one headlight w/ the amber circle on the turn signal and one w/o the amber.
Any one care to guess? It was simple, done at home

Well it's still really shiny and the sun was right on it. I'd load more pics, but it's from my cell which won't send MMS right now...
1) Take apart as usual, tape up turn signal
2) Wipe down w/ windex or rubbing alcohol with lint free towel
.... here's the different part..
3) VERY light coats of VHT Niteshades to get desired effect to the chrome, so the basic properties of the chrome shine thru. Clear coat, clear coat, clear coat.
4) Reassemble
5) Enjoy
