for over the past year my brother has been having his 1998 trans-am ws-6 fully built. from 9" ford rear with 3:73's, 76mm sts turbo, 402 built bottom end, cam...top end, manifold, fuel...you name it, the car now has it. so today we went down to drop off some wheels and check on the vehicle.

582rwhp/642ftlb...only went to about 4900rpm on low boost... he's got quite a few more 100's to go ...car will dyno well over that.

it will not have a cage and it will be street driven... at 2500rpm, it made nearly 500ftlb's of tq at the wheels

That is ******* sick. One of my favorite rides. I would like to have something like that. I have had all motor Camaro running 10s but I think with that type of set up and the right tunning and traction it could run 10s easly. Maybe even faster...!

 

he will, but would be kicked out pretty much off the bat, his word were

"i'll be beating that damn 6.3l amg's ass then bringing it to car shows."

as of now...he really just wants to drive it. he has some 17x11 grand sport wheels with 315's for the rear and hes waiting to pick up some hoosiers... im sure it will see the track.

i just can't wait to see what it will put down at the end of the dyno runs and tuning on pump gas if possible

 

lil update... the maf is maxed at 4000rpm and 5 volts...so, no more maf.

the good news, at 10psi and 4,000rpm it made over 650rwhp and 700ft lb...still on pump gas of course
