Projekt: My opinion supercharged k20 or n/a k20>supercharged lsj in every way. Id much rather own a rsx-s supercharged or n/a rsx-s. Performance, reliability and sound is all on the Honda/Acuras side. Remember, this is my personal opinion.
Fact...A N/A Rsx type s with full bolt ons, cams, injectors and an aggressive k-pro tune will put 250-280 to the wheels, thats as much as most highly bolted lsj's with m62 (Search the internet if you dont believe me, also youtube).
Now, I could never ever achieve that with my N/A ss. I have full bolt ons and a Trifecta tune. I'm guessing I have between 170 to 180whp. With cams, bigger injectors and a more aggressive tune I could prob net 200whp at most. The Honda 4 cyl engines are a step ahead of the game. Alot of ppl make fun of v-tech and have no idea what they are talking about.
I used to whole sale cars for my dad. Hes the general manager of a delership in up-state new york. I was going to make a career out of it, but it wasent for me. I decided to join the Army. Any ways, I got to drave many many cars. You name it, I drove it. z06, cts-v, sti, evo, srt-4, rsx-s...You get the idea. I got to drive acouple rsx-s's. One was stock and the other one was a highly modded n/a with dc sport race header, catback, intake, cams, tune. This thing was absolutley rediculas, the sound, the performance and stiffness was amazing. I mean this thing was obnoxicously loud when you got on it, amazing sound and had some *****. Way faster than my fulley bolted plus tuned ss/na. First n/a 4 cyl that I have ever driven that actually was fast. The kid that traded the rsx-s in bought a highly modded black 07 fp green sti (I got to drive as well which was rediculas). I wanted to buy the rsx-s, but dad said it was way too loud, lol.
I'm sorry for going on and on, but thats just my .02.

As much of a GM fanboi as I am, I feel no defeat in knowing the K20's capabilities vs. the LE5 whilst still N/A, here's why:
- K20 was built for sport, just look at it's applications... Type R this, Type S this, Si this, SiR that
- To me it seems like LE5 was built to be a fuel efficient workhorse for GM's midsize cars after they realized how fat they made the Epsilon cars. Subsequently as an afterthought they tuned it for a bit more power on premium juice and stuck it in a second SS to increase sales, and also found it a perfect base motor for the Kappas.
Having said all that, I would have bought an Si coupe over my 2.4... but they are all waaay too expensive around here.

Couldnt have said it any better Acey. I'd much rather own a new si or rsx type s. Only reason I'm driving a ss/na is because I got an amazing deal on it. (Dad is general manager of car dealership and uncle is head guy at local bank = awsome)
I need some more power though. I'm boosting my 2.4 or buying an Evo 9 when I get out of basic and advanced training for Army. I leave Oct 18, in 13 days!!
