Talking GMPP Straight Exhaust tip pics.

Finally got the car cleaned up and snapped a few photos at work this morning. I haven't seen that many pictures of cars with the GMPP Exhaust straight cut tip on, so I thought I'd post a few up for everyone.

Before you even say anything... yes I know it's not centered in the lip cut out. Myself and a GM tech got up under it while it was on the lift at the shop and there was no way to move it any further right and keep the mounting brackets from touching eachother, which would sound like **** going down the road. It dosen't actually look that bad in person, that pic just makes the gap look huge.

As always, polite comments and constructive criticism are gladly accepted.

Side Profile: Love the tip sticking out the rear like that!

Rear Shot

Tip Closeup: You can actually see the bowtie on this one.

Frontal Profile: For the heck of it.

Unfortunately no, just the way this exhaust system is I suppose. I spent about 20 mins up under the car with the tech, and if we were to move it any more the brackets would be physicly touching eachother and would vibrate like hell.

I'll have to snap a shot from a better angle in the rear... that pic does make it look bad... it's like 1 finger on one side... and maybe 3 fingers on the other side... not really noticable unless you just sit there and stare at it. It's not touching the plastic in any way like the Magnaflow system was on my 2.4... so I'm not worried about it getting hot and melting anything.

have you thought about rolling the rear bumper so that there is no grill or anything, kind of like the srt-4 guys do? then it wouldn't look so noticeable.

I put a full GM touring exhuast and GM header on my Sc and it lined up dead center. All the brackets fit perfectly.

Mine lined up just fine. I put my brackets downwards just incase I had to play with them but I guess I got lucky.

Me too. Everything lined up perfectly. The exhaust tip doesn't stick out that much either.

Mine is dead center as well, tip is pushed in quite a bit, looks a lot like CT's. Now I think I might have a leak comin from somewhere though. HAHA I tell ya, just never stops!

Car looks awesome! Love the tip! But I think maybe the hangers were bent or something cause it should be dead center.

I popped a few zip ties on it last night... moved it about a half inch more to the right. I'm gonna try my luck again after work today and see if I can get it over any further. It looks much better already. I'll toss up some pics here tomorrow so we can all see the difference.
