Headlight intake for turbo
There wont be pictures or a how to from this point till first coat of paint
But yes it will be molded and form as one flowing piece. Thats the reason for taping the lens and cutting it like i did.
And i cant say its original. Theres lots of track cars that do this. But yeah i havent heard of anyone doing it on a cobalt.

Just curious, what size piping are you planning on running to the turbo?
I saw a video on youtube from some guys that did tests on CAI and pretty much showed that no gains were made from a CAI on the car they tested. They tested it several way and it was a no go. HOWEVER when they move the pipe outside from under the hood to outside the hood, it was a 5hp improvement on a 230hp car. So you arent going to slay dragons with it but it is an original project.
Here is the vid. I love mightycarmods vids by the way. These guys are awesome.

[QUOTE=EXsoccer1921;7016239]I've been itching to do something to the car while i'm waiting on parts to come in. But i'm not gonna plastidip some random ass parts or put some fender stripes on it. I wanted to do something different. I remembered i have a spare set of headlights laying around so i got to work.

You got to think with that mythbusters deal there wasn't a turbo trying to suck up everything in its path like a tornado. It does make a difference with a turbo. I was thinking about doing it on my car as well.
He has mounted it however I don't think he has plumbed it to the turbo yet. And as far as tracking the car, he has not been down the strip since he went turbo. I will try to get him out there in the next couple months. I have a new gopro I want to strap to his car haha
