NOPE
NOPE
Tell me then why they are working such a small place?
i really don't know why.... but they do use photoshop but they never messed with WB. this 1 photog i did a wedding with touched it ONCE but only shot 1 pic with a custom WB and that was it he put it back to auto
um... ok i don't know what else you want me to tell you... i know what I saw.... i went to about 15 jobs with them they were either reunions or weddings and worked in his "house" office studio and watched what they did (i found nudes of the girl worker too lmao on the computer. and apparently she don't know what a razor is...) and I'm telling you first hand experience they NEVER touched the white balance or use RAW. They do not touch white balance. and I remember him saying to me he does not shoot RAW cause it's too much of a pain in the @$$. I watched how they do the jobs and learned. and they showed me what's done and how to do these jobs. I think I'd know they leave white balance on auto...

there are great benefits if you got to a legit studio. i just opened my own studio in feb. and i'll admit i'm not raking in a lot of money but it was expected as new business usually do suffer a little bit when they first start out. i still make enough to cover printing costs and rent so it's not doing so bad so far. *knocks on wood* i'm only doing this part time as well since i still have my full time job.
when i shoot candid i usually leave it on auto WB but change in PS when i do my PP.
which pics are you talking about? if mine, i never said they weren't edited. they are very much edited.

can't be bothered? sorry, didn't think your time shooting was so precious. only takes around 5 seconds to choose your WB and you can just set your camera on RAW or RAW+JPEG so it's not like something you have to do every single time you want to take an exposure. that's like saying you don't want to bother reading road signs while driving because you're already have to fiddle w/ the gas/brake pedal and steering wheel. i was like you, only shooting jpeg's not so long ago but knew i had to eventually step up my skill so now i only shoot RAW. best thing since slice bread. you make it seem like shooting RAW and selecting your WB is something so difficult to do. it's just a simple button you press it's not like you have to take your camera apart to set it.
