Hyundai Genesis Coupe (Potential Tiburon)

Got my Jan 08 CAR and DRIVER mag today and on the front was a pic of a new Hyundai Genesis coupe. I read a little into it as it says on the cover that it is a 300hp v-6 RWD mustang beater and that peaked my interest. Looks like it'll come with 2 different motors. A 3.8Ltr 300hp, 263ft lb v-6 or an undefinedd 200+hp turbo 4. The base model having the turbo 4. They say it will weigh about 3500lbs which is what the mustang weighs also. Best part is the cost. starting below $25K! WOW, I can't believe it. I'll wait of course to see one at a dealer, but I'm very interested and I'm definitely going to check it out. I've never been a fan of Hyundai, but if this comes out anything like what is being described, I may convert. thoughts?

here's some pics of what the actual production model may look like.

and here is a pic of the concept, which always looks awesome.

They said it may become the new tiburon, or they may change the name to genesis coupe. I agree though, either way, the production model itself is pretty bad ass and sleek looking. The concept is just radical. But I definitely want to drive one when they hit dealerships.

As the resident tiburon guy, I'll chime in and say that this is NOT the new tiburon. As awesome as it is, there will be a new FWD Coupe to replace the Tiburon.

This car is placed to compete with the Mustang/Infinity G37

There will still be a Tiburon to compete with the RSX, Cobalt, SRT-4, etc.

I personally feel like I'm going to get this soon after it comes out, but I may change my mind when I see the new Tib.

Off topic but...how much power does that V6 make with a charger on it? I'm curious.
