all a dyno does is calculate how fast the car can move the drum. theres no way a dyno can be off, the software can configure a few hp from the air temp/ humidity, thats why a mustang dyno is so low, but the whole 14 psi on a ported m62 stock pulley isnt right. the reason for porting a sc is the exact same reason to port a head, more airflow meaning less boost.

ever check the compression in the engine after installing it? or was that engine ever modifide?

no not really. we just got the motor completely assembled and just swaped everything from the other one. The car runs and pulls pretty hard. I mean is not the fastest thing outthere obiously but it does move pretty good for what it is and what it has. My next plans is sending the head to get ported.

Um... when I was in Charleston at sea level and was stock with just an Injen intake I made 14psi on a cool night.

Did you tune the car or were you rocking a stock tune? This makes a big difference here.

A dyno is just a tuning tool. Just because it says 243whp doesnt make it accurate. Go to the track and tell us what you trap. That is a true hp reader

what do you mean? didnt you see the vid? am been completely honest with these numbers and people were surprised about the outcome even myself. right after my dyno there was a s2k with intake header exhaust and tune. he dynoed 224whp. my friend with and SS tc with intake, charge pipe, 3" dp, cutout, and Trifecta tune dynoed 311whp. And even a c6 vette with drop in, headers, and tune dynoed 424whp.am saying that to show you this is one of the best acurate dynos in our area. theres no BS with this dyno numbers man.

Hmm. I thought you were supposed to see a little increase in boost if you only port the blower? It shouldn't be flowing less after being ported, it should flow more. Since this pumps air into the intake manifold, if your allowing more to be pumped into the same space shouldn't boost go up since it measure restriction? I have no idea if that's a 'good' number in terms of boost for your location / pulley but I don't think your supposed to see a decrease in boost after porting this blower (assuming its done right).

boost is suppose to drop buddy not go up since its measuring restriction the less restriction the lower the boost not the other way around
