mudflaps on the ss what you think

Well I got the urge to put some Muflaps on my car, picked up some rally armor ones for pretty cheap,
Aot of you probably won't like it,I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, and I know I'm not a subaru or all wheel drive but I do take it up the mountains to go snowboarding
But overall I think it turned out good and I'm happy with it, and my car is kinda dirty it needs a wash
Well here it is

I think it would benefit more aesthetically if you just peeled back the plastic inner fender and coated the metal in there with underbody coating.

i would say hide them better instead of letting a couple of inches show on the side. this is the kinda of mod i would hide, but some one would have to notice if that makes since. im 50/50 on this, its not a rally car like suby and evos are....idk to each there owen

CSS.net is the worst place to get input on mods. Do what you want.

Doesn't look bad.

Now your 1/4's won't get all chipped up.

I've been thinking about mudflaps to have on during winter to help keep my 1/4s from getting any chips or whatever.
Gotta do what you gotta do, dont think anyone will be tryin to win any beauty contests during winter with a DD

They look fine. Now if you spray painted a mudflap and called it "the mudflap mod" everyone would say "dude that is sex".

I hate this forum haha.

SN: If you want an WRX, buy a WRX, if you want stupid camber and Vette rims, buy a VW. If you want to sticker your ****, by all means, but be smart about it. These crowds don't own these trends, the thing is, they can pull them off and not look like the laughing stock of your local car meet.

I've never seen a group enthusiasts try so hard to own something they don't, this "scene" humors me. ...and don't hit me with the "what should I do an Evo mod and paint everything black like every other Cobalt" ****, that's true. Being unique though and jocking other's trends with poor success rates are not the same page.

I agree with this 100%. Some people need mud flaps though. My car needs them because there is a shitload of chips on my side skirt from driving backroads. My parents live out in the middle of nowhere and those gravel roads are hard on the paint. I wouldn't mind havinf some, but I don't know if my 'balt could pull it off.

Your car will thank you; this forum probably won't.
Have you considered the trucker ones with the chrome honeys? Or maybe a chrome Pedobear, haha.

Why thank you, and as far as the taillights its red taillight tint spray its pretty much like the nightshades just red, I need to respray mine though,

And as far as me copying trends trying to be like a wrx or whatever who cares I wanted to try it so I did, I don't get why people on here get so butthurt when someone tries something a little different, I'm just trying to make my car stand out from everyone elses cobalt, and whether you like it or not your going to remember my cobalt cause I'm that guy with the mudflaps.

I agree with the need and function.

I'm driving my SS in Michigan winter, with 225/45 snow tires and decently offset Saab rims. You should see the salt on my paint, hell had I had time I would've done something similar but tucked in.

However when you're rocking summer tires in CA and hit the mountain once in a few months .

I wasn't attacking the OP either, just it happened to be a great spot for that rant involving other recent occurances here.

I understand, and still agree. There are a lot of retarded trends in the Cobalt community.
