Just wait a couple months, someone will make GOOD projectors for our cars instead of the crappy E-Bay ones. Those will give you the same result as Merc's with a better looking headlight.

Umm I will just say this now that there will never be projectors made for our cars that will come with Xenon projectors. There are no aftermarket projectors out there that have Xenon projectors let alone bi-xenon. And if they did make them you wouldn't be able to touch them for under $1,500.

agreed....the other sets may have a "projecter" in them but it wont be a HID "friendly" projecter and there will prob never be a bi-xenon set...the closeist thing would be a set like the e-bay ones were they convery the setup in to a dual bulb headlight.....if they ever make a set with an HID "friendly" projecter i'll pay a big amount for them.

Yes, with the projector its AIMed much more accurately. With the halogen housing it doesnt really aim at all. the pictures make it look worse then if you actually where looking at it in person, but this obviously lets you see from a camera's standpoint what the difference is.

Our halogen housings have adjusters, I have mine set really high so I need to change it like my bro's so it points to the ground rather then 1000 feet away LOL.

Beautiful! I didn't think the light would be that much different. Now I want a set. Time to start searching E-bay.

Did you ever make a how-to on this Mercury?

And that is a pretty intesne job. I might have to give a go at this if I move to long island. I will have access to the fathers tools since he will be about 15 minutes away.

ok im understanding the diagram, buuuuut...y only one 9007 connector for the whole system? Do you think it would be ok to integrate a second 9007 connector into the harness. one for both projectors. hmmm maybe i need to look through more threads on hidplanet to see if someone explains it.
