um bro, didnt know you were using a strobe. maybe you should get rid of the flash, open the lens up and bump the iso so you can get a shot that isnt blurry

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my zoo pictures I took the other day. It was like 70 degrees and I just had to hit up the St. Louis zoo before it rained like hell.

I'm still confused as to what shooting with strobes has to do with not being about to stop down and speed up the shutter=/

Or...even bumping the ISO a stop or two

im a noob on an unfamiliar camera and no tripod.... some of these had an exposure of like 30+ seconds. there is no light at 330 am







this one is odd lol

get off iso 100 and that will help with the exposure time... read your camera manual that will help...

trust me shooting with the strobe is fine.. I just happen to drag the flash alittle on this one.. hence why i said it wasnt the best example..

Hey if it woks it works...just saying from the shots you posted, they most all looked soft. Why not post a sharp one?

Ryan, flash sync is 1/250th second on 40d so anything faster than 1/250 and the shutter will have closed before the flash fires.
...I can't even see the image, nore the EXIF so I didn't know what his Shutter was.
