are you gonna do active duty or air national guard? I'm thinking about going active duty air force when my army national guard contract is up in like 2 years...

is it possible to get a rear disc brake kit for my base model without doing a hub swap?

**edit** nvm, but does anyone have any useful info for me? I'm seriously thinking of doing this for the spring, so my drums don't look wack with the new wheels I'll be putting in.

NO you don't have to do a hub swap, you just need to get in contact with Powell. He had one ready for me with 4x100 rears but I switched it up on him so Im sure they are available. It consists of brackets, bolts, lines, and redrilled rotors for reasonable price. I just want to switch to 5x114.3 for wheel choices

cool thanks. I'm not exactly looking for brembo or any ridiculous kit, but swapping from drum to disk should be fairly simple? (my buddy is a mechanic if I need help)
any brands I should stay away from?

Powell's kit switchs you to lsj rears. You need to find your own calipers, but i found mine on ebay for $25 for both

ill probably keep my balt as my DD after graduation, as it wont be worth anything by then anyways then ill be in the market for a lifted dirtymax myself, and maybe a subie depending on funds.
