if your arent going coilovers, i highly suggest investing the $400 in the FE5 setup. The stock setup dosent like the springs for very long. FE5 with prokit or sportlines, hell even pedders if you arent looking for super low.
I'm on KYB with sportlines and the ride is as fine as it would be with any other lowered car on springs. Don't forget, you're stiffening the springs, of course the ride will get rougher, but the turns are sharper so you can avoid those potholes with ease
I've ridden in cobalts with all sorts of springs and I'm not so much of a fan of sportlines. I had them on my car for a year or Two, and while it was better than stock, I wasn't impressed. I would buy a spring that isn't progressive.
what do you mean by ''little'' extra for coils?
I got my sportlines for 150$ and the struts for 200$...
I'm asking seriously..because if you've got those kinds of hookups; then I'm definitely interested.

haha i wish i had those type of hookups
i'm just saying if i get new shocks/struts i'll probably go with koni's which are what like close to $700, for another 100 bucks i could have megan coils althou i'd probably just go with stance... but this will only happen if i get a nice job soon with a company vehicle
i dont know about their components, but their coaxles arent great on head unit amplification, and mediocre at best on an external amp. i have a set of ks650s and ks6930's. I just relased the 650s with re audio c.5c components (only 100 bucks), and i couldnt be happier for budget stuff.
i run 2 l7's ghetto halfwalled though. got a good deal on them new
