meh. only reason there is wheel gap yet is because i'm on 15's, these same wheels in 17's would look sick right now i have about 4" of clearance under the front valence

nah man, i love how these look with my car even if they are 15's i can't justify spending money on new wheels/tires right now, just trying to keep up on maintenance with the car. only reason i got coils was because the front struts were starting to go, and now i may need to get at least 1 new axle because of what i said in 1 of my previous posts. if that starts leaking again i dont know if i should just get a cheap replacement axle or go with ZZP stage 1 2.2/2.4 axles, and then it makes me think should i look into powell 2.2 rotated trans mounts as well. one thing always leads to another

I'm looking for a black LS that had a front lip installed on it. It almost looked like a home depot special, but I can't remember if it was that, a one off project or if it was aftermarket, but I know it was in here. I've looked through probably 75 or so pages between last night and today and I can't find it. Saw it maybe 6 months ago in here. Anybody know which one it is?

Unfortunately yes. Need something a little more useful, maybe grand cherokee with hemi. It wouldn't cost that much more than engine\head build for you

lolol, well good luck with that man. the cobalt will be missed!

on a side note, anyone know how to replace lash adjusters. im about to buy some but need a little more insight on how to replace them. i heard that you can just loosen the rockers or even loosen the cam caps and squeeze them out. anyone? thanks

Easiest/safest way is to pull the side cover, pull the cams and have full access to them. Then re time the motor. If you try to do it a "easier" way,you run a big risk of the chain moving 1 tooth off on the crank gear and you wouldn't even know it.Don't half ass it and hurt your motor more when your trying to fix it.

Or just remove one and replace one at the same time. Should be okay doing it this way. Could always try it that way first and if it the chain jumps then retime the bitch.

How do you replace one at a time, only reason I'm shaking with touching the chain is because I've had problems before

Ive found our axels to be especially stout, f23 tranny too. Most of ours are holding up better than lsj axels, and f35s. I had a rip in my boot, Matty O rvt'd it no problem, put zzps in for two weeks while ordered new boot(kinda pain in the ass to replace boot), passenger side didn't last a week. After new boot came in put it on and stock axels back in (65000 miles) and its holding great. NO problems even spinning thru 1,2,3 consecutively. And im at 341 whp daily and saw 400+ with dave from pwerks on dyno

yea i actually picked up a new tube of rtv silicone today and i'm gonna try that tomorrow after work and see how that holds before i order a new axle. i'm just not sure how it's gonna hold since it's right at a seem in the boot. but atleast if i need to replace the axle a guy i work with has a lift and said he'd help if i get him a case of beer i just hate the grease flying everywhere and on the back of my wheel
