everything about the metric system is consistent to the power 10... from nm to um to mm, to cm, to m, to km...same thing when it comes to weight, and temperature revolves around water freezing/boiling points (0 and 100) and increases at a consistent level (not from 212 to 32, then switch at -40 Fahrenheit).

it was developed by scientists, not by the length of some king's foot...

Sorry to me, I've been using both the metric and the imperial system my whole life and FT and Inches are far to easy for me to give up, I use it far more often then metric. To you, using meters might seem easy but you've been using it your whole lift. I don't even need to think about adding and subtracting Imperial numbers it comes naturally and I find the fractions to be easier and more accurate. You don't understand why people use the imperial system and I can't understand why people use the metric system.

As for temperature I use both systems it all depends on which system I'm given. Same with weight, though I do prefer Pounds to grams.

if your an engineer/engineering student you get comfortable with both unit systems so what the heck is the difference when it comes down to things.. i prefer english units because I'm familiar with the scales, but its not like the conversions are hard to go to SI units. its normally one quick multiplication factor and your done.. not rocket science lol

NASA: It would cost $370 million to convert to metric - Neowin.net

Cost of a space shuttle...

Now think of an entire nation... Every sign, every car the time, people... all that money... It would be a large investment for people to end up confused and unfamiliar.

Just because Timmy jumps off a bridge doesn't mean I should follow and do the same. lol

like i said i do love those wheels and how they fit perfectly with my car... but yea yea we'll see what happens in the next couple weeks, the more i think about it i should just look into picking up a newer truck for work and save the car because i care more about the car than i would a used silverado or something

So.After doing some reading,Lowering springs(not coilovers) for the rear have to sit in a exact way.If you have them out, they have a lean in them. When installed, they need to lean toward thee front of the car.Mine were in backward. So when I rotated them, the ass end dropped down an inch. Now I don't look like I have Pedders lmao

nice! i have mine in right, mine is just weird where my ground- fender is the same at all 4 wheels but just by looking at it the gap it looks a hair less in the rear than in the front. i'll have to measure when i put my summer's back on but like i said maybe ill look for a set or sportlines or h&r, get at least another inch or more drop

wow thats odd, i noticed it when doing my exhaust tonight, but i figured the car being on the lift the weight was off of the springs and they just fell down like that, they do have a slight curve.

Damn thats a good idea!!! i was trying to figure out how to do something cheap, ive got tons of white led strips laying around and was going to try and make that work but since there is a gap, it cant be mounted flat. im going to try one of the those led squares.

Exactly what it is.Something like 9 or 12 leds. All I did to mount it was unscrew the whole licens plate light housing a little bit, slipped it inbetween the bumper and housing, then tighened it back down, then tapped it into the light wiring.Has been there for about 3 years now with no issues at all.Even in summer heat, northern snow, and rain, still works like a champ.
