Sometimes there are lots of hot chicks and sometimes there are none. There weren't many cars there either. If you look at the race time you'll see I ran a couple times less than ten minutes from each other.
Yeah, they don't care if you're slow. Once you get in the 13s you have to wear a helmet and have the windows up. Test and tune night is relaxed. Also, the guy at the line was a big time Chevy fan. He kept leaning in the car and telling me to kick those Mustangs asses and he told me I better not lose to that Mazda and stuff.
I could probably shave a second with a driver mod. If I got a 2.0 60ft I would have been the 13s no problem. I also didn't realize it until later but my tires were at 39PSI. Don't know how much that hurt but it couldn't help. I didn't do any kind of tire warm up either. Just drove around the water and lined up. One side of the car still had to go through the water though so I probably had a bit of water on one tire at each launch. My car is an SS/TC with K&N, catless DP and 23psi Trifecta tune. It's faster than I make it look. Soccer could probably get my car in the low 13s.

I'm not sure NT05s are the best choice for drag racing, especially at that high of a tire pressure up front. I think they are more geared towards AutoX and track racing bc of their stiffer sidewalls. That may have been most of your problem right there.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the little captions, especially the "Horsepower" one.
