they could just as easily made a badge that says "turbocharged" (like the ones probably going on the hhr ss) super=5 letters, turbo=5 letters, probably takes up the same amount of space. can anyone zoom in on the badge and get a clear view?

Why would Gm keep this car such a secret??? They didnt even keep the new camaro a secret. I just dont think they would go to so much trouble to suprise cobalt owners.

 

Which it more than likely is off of. Looks like the bottom right of the HHR on the hatch.

When I asked someone at the dealer a while back who tried getting me to trade in my 06 for an 07 he mention that the 08 will be turbo not supercharged and that it will have a slightly modified front end compared to the supercharged versions.

Would I get a turbo? Probably....just to have a new car. But not counting on anything and planning on hanging onto what I have cause the likelihood of seeing a Turbalt. Slim to nothing at the moment.

I would probably buy a ss/tc, Subaru and Mitz both fucked up changing body styles, well i guess the mitz isnt too bad but i want a 6 spd not a paddle shift.

 

Well, the Evo X doesn't look all that bad from the front or side. The back end....different story. As for the STI...Just plain nasty for 2008.

I think it is safe to say that IF these cars are going to be released, it isn't going to be until the 2009 model year. The 08's have already been released and there isn't an SS in the line-up. Just wait a year and see what comes out!!

 

you are proably correct. But some times a model comes out during Middle of the year---and they don't make a habit of telling us at the start.

As for the Camaro comments--yes we know they are coming.

We do not know what trim level will be offered, RS, SS, Z28 or even what engines. Yet we do know that the HHR is delta and got the LNF 2.0 Turbo. I hope the 2.0 Turbo goes into the 4dr as well this time. The dropping of the SS badge is purely temporary---GM couold not continue production of the S/C and the Turbo was not quite ready to go.
