Pict of the SS/TC
Damn those wheels are hot and look to way less hopefully. **** we may be looking at the turbo balts (sorry but ive never seen that pic before). They do have the GM driver stickers or whatever you call them. Going to keep in touch with this thread and see how it goes, lol.
I'm just trying to get all the info I can either way. I'm watching here and on other sites and I haven't found anything that says they are definately not going to make one, or anything that says that they definately will.
If anyone has any concrete proof either way I wish they would speak up! Facts are all that matter here.

Those are GM cars , the little white test tubes coming out the bottom have to do with emissions testing .

Notice anything similar with those wheels ?? They simply re-tooled the 05-07 wheel and added all the cut-outs . My crude qwikie photoshop my 05 wheel .

Oh wow, that pic really gives the hint of a turbo with just different wheels. Who's to say that those were not old 07 SS test mules? Sounds to me like someone posted the pics there to try and stir excitement up about a car that will not exist. Isn't the Cobalt supposed to be redesigned in 09? Why would GM even bother to put the LNF in the car for one design year? Then again, why would GM put the LNF in the gay ass hhr?

btw interesting find silverss/sc
it was my understanding that the SS was being scrapped all together. no more LSJ, and the 2.4 SS would become the Cobalt Sport. The focus was to be put on the HHR SS... no more cobalt SS of any kind. If this turbo SS rumor is true, though, than it wont be the LSJ with a turbo on it, because the LSJ got scrapped for failing emissions. I'll believe it when i see it. But i doubt it. GM has no reason to build a turbo cobalt b/c Dodge ditched the SRT-4 Neon, so there's no competition. And unless they made the turbo cobalt AWD (which they wont) it cant compete with the STI or EVO either. So my bet is that all w e're going to see is the turbo HHR to compete with the Caliber SRT and Mazdaspeed 3. That turbo hatchbacks are the new fad.
