Post Your Medals

So yesterday I got my long service medal.

I want to say for the American soldiers. Canada does not give out medals as easily as America. I'm sure that there are American members here that will post up huge racks.

Basically, each of the 4 Blue medals equal 6 Months Active service in the Balkans. (Bosnia and Macedonia) Two delightful places..

Irony aside.. I love the way the army always sends you to to visit places where 99.9% of the people are Running away from..

LOL

So, From the Left..

Canadian Peace Service Medal
NATO Service Former Yugoslavia (Two Tours) 96 01
NATO Service Macedonia 01
NATO Non Article 5 (Former Yugoslavia) 03
Canadian Decoration for Honorable Service (17 Years and going)

nice man.
yeah no one gives out medals like the US does lol.
ooo you passed basic! heres a medal

Back in Australia, for me to see a RAAF officer with medals on was extremely unusual.
Even the old fellas in our rememberance day parades often only had a few.
