Long story but here it goes:

2 weeks ago, I drove to the local performance shop that tuned my car and asked them if they could throw my car up and log it since lately when I have been driving it has been hesitating a tiny bit under light acceleration. It also seemed to big bad during NLS. Thought it was the tune, brought it to the shop, they said they couldnt get me in that day and to swing it by tommorow. I said sure. So i headed out and headed to a local cobalt meet, and as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, made a left on the street, slowly took off from 1st to 2nd I got a CEL and my car went into limp mode. 1st time this ever happened. I was like WTF!? Turned around and went back to the shop and asked them to scan it. The code was Low Fuel Pressure.

Well I drove it to the dealer immediatly after, put my stock ECU in to be safe, and dropped it off for service figuring my Fuel pump went out or something. The next day I called at about 3:00 when they told me "you gotta come pick up your car, its not stock so they cannot work on it." I was pissed, so and said "well did you even diagnose the problem to see if my parts caused it?" and they said "no they cannot diagnose it untill my stock intake is on the car." Remember I only have intake, and Hot side Charge pipes. Since the dealer is about 20 miles away and its in limp mode I had it towed back to the house.

I had givin my stock airbox outlet piece to a member on here when theirs broke so I had to pay 65 bucks to get one shipped to me from some1 on here. Well, I put the stock intake on, left the charge pipes since they have no sensors on the hot side and got it towed back. The next day I dont hear anything from them and call them at 3:00 to hear "its still not stock so you have to return it to stock condition since theres exposed wires in the engine bay" i said "...wait what? You mean the wire for the narrowband I never hooked up and just taped to the wire wrap? Its not run to anything why is that a problem." and he said "you can come here and the service guy can show you everything." I left work and told him id "be right there."

Drove to dealer, they showed me the charge pipe, told them theres no sensors and its just replacing restrictive plastic with aluminum and it shouldnt cause any problems, they said ok. SHowed them the wire and just yanked it out. But THEN, they show me the wire harness for my fuel pump which is under my intake manifold. The schematics they have show that the wire is supposed to be color coordinated. Theres 3 wires and there supposed to be red, blue, yellow etc. Mine are all grey. Since they dont match the schematics they assume its aftermarket. I told him theres no way thats aftermarket and it came on the car like that. Why would I buy an aftermarket wiring harness for a fuel pump thats warrentied? I dont even think they make such a thing? They told me I might have wanted to change the resistance or some **** I dont even know about. I told them no way I modified that what so ever. They told me "It looks like you intake manifold has even been removed at one time." I said "well I have never touched it other then use the mothers powerball cleaner on it." Had to speak to several GM service guys and the service manager who told me GM completely voided the warrenty on my car all together. I told him thats complete crap since I have basic bolt on's and I would have no problem paying for a part my bolt'on's broke but not a manufacturers defect. Basically after arguing back and forth they told me they would further diagnose the problem. This argument was friday. Today I call the dealership at 3:00 to see if they made any progress. The service manager tells me they are "Still hungup on the wiring harness as it doesnt appear to be stock." So they made NO progress what-so-ever on the car again. They told me if they need to order a fuel pump and its not readily available it may take weeks. Its been 2 weeks and the dealer still doesnt even know wtf is wrong with my car. Really pissing me off.

mine didnt even know about my dads being tuned when he broke his charge piping and they asked what he had done and he said nothing and they fixed it no problem after they called a tech cause they thought he broke it by leaving a tool on it and shutting the hood
