This sucks so bad because my charge pipe came off and now I got a check engine light and I refuse to take it to the dealership because they pull **** like this over some 60 dollar brakes. Since I bought this brand new car I've bought jack stands, rhino ramps, 3 socket sets, and an oil pan. As soon as I can find a Haynes manual for the LNF I'll really never see the dealership again. It was same experience for my when my shifter broke. I put a knob on it and they said the knob broke the shifter linkage. Then they jerked me for 3 days with no rental or anything. When they told me it was ready to pick up, they gave me the keys, said it was going to break again, and told me I could find my car around the corner and gave no service form.

got my car back today. They said they wouldnt work on it under warrenty b/c of a wire for a narrowband in the engine bay, and a wiring harness for the fuel pump which doesnt match their schematics. They said b/c of this they arent working on it unless i pay them 100 bucks an hour to figure out whats wrong. They believe the narrowband thing which was spliced into a PCM wire could have been some piggy back thing or some ****. I went there to go pick up my car and take it to the performance shop that sponsors my car club since i dont really wanna give this dealership business since they have been jerking me around so much. I went there to pick up my keys, they obviously didnt wanna deal with me, he went to go get my car, i watched as he attempted to start it, got out, scratched his head, popped the trunk, got a tech to jump start it since the battery was dead. Jumped it, and then drove it to me and said "thank you" and handed me the keys and i drove away. Now I have a Service airbag light. Guessing just a quick disconnect of the battery cables should reset that.

put your **** back to stock, get rid of the narrowband ****.... why the hell would you **** with one anyways, your PCM has a wideband, and narrowbands are HIGHLY innacurate.

Try a different dealer and have it be BONE STOCK

im just paying a shop to fix it. But the narrowband and oil pressure are sold. never hooked either up they were just filling my gauge pod till I got rid of them. Bought them b4 I knew our cars came with a narrowband and baught both for cheap. but none the less, a stupid reason to not work on a car....

And Nathan im not taking it to marine chevy b/c its just so far away and AAA wont tow it anymore since they found out its lowered.... I didnt think that even mattered but they wont tow a lowered vehicle. next time i call ill tell them its not lowered and i returned it to stock height. even though it wont be, they will never notice the 1.2" the sportlines gave me in the front...

National speed said they cant work on it till next thursday but that seems to be my best option. I mean id much rather them work on the car and maybe theyll even throw it on the dyno and log the tune to make sure everything is alright. Right now its in their parking lot and they have the keys. they said theyd bring it in the shop every night. and at least I can go visit it and jordan said hed put some pics up of it on the import forum

if it's just a wire, fix it. It'll be cheaper to buy the service manual and repair yourself.

listen you modify, something breaks, it's your problem. Trying to weasel the dealership out of a repair isn't the way to go. If you can't fix it yourself, then don't modify it.

dude relax. i didnt think my tune had anything to do with my fuel pump b/c we cant adjust fueling tables or anything just yet to **** with my fuel pump. but like i said previously i would have no problem paying for something if my **** broke it. But i have never heard of some1 throwing a low fuel pressure code yet b/c of aftermarket parts. figured it was the fuel pump which none of my parts seemed to casue in my mind. Thought my fuel pump just went bad.

Right now its at National Speed, when i dropped my car off there was 1 supra in the shop, 2 twin turbo track 350z's, a big lifted truck, and some other yellow track car. looked like an import. unsure of what it was exactly. Feel pretty comfterble that its there cause they do some badass work. So yes, I am paying $90 an hour in labor to get it fixed now b/c the dealer jerked me around for 2 weeks and never even diagnosed the problem but instead said "im not fixing b/c of this, and im not fixing b/c of this, and this, etc.." I would have much rather them called and said "Hey kevin, listen, it seems your fuel pump is going bad. We tested it and its not putting out the right amount of pressure. It seems your intake interfered witht he tables and caused it to malfunction. This wont be covered under warrenty. Do you want us to replace it still?" I would have been a happy camper and went there with a smile on my face
