Sounds like they are doing it in 5th gear, listen to how long it takes the car to get up the RPM.

 

It has 6 gears, so a 5th gear run would be about right anyway. Plus those thing put down near 400 whp stock. Even a 6th gear run would turn out 350+ whp.

 

its almost like they removed the supercharger...i didnt hear a whine and thats ******....GT power. not saying they did, but itd make sense

 

Ummm , blower whine anyone ??

I video taped mine from behind on 1 of my dyno runs and could still hear the blower whine loud and clear .

Its either not a cobra , or the guy dynoed with the blower off the car or the pulley bypassed . If the latter were the case , it would take an eternity to climb up through 4th gear . Its not uncommon for guys with blower set ups to dyno unboosted outa curiosity or tuning ect ect .

 

I've only seen 1 maybe 2 cobras here where I live, but maybe thats just my luck. What I'm looking out for this summer or when ever it warms up will be the 06 saleens that a local dealer has. Lasted I checked the slowest 06 saleen was at 325 hp going up to 500 hp. So if the cobras are as bad as people say, then there is going to be a lot of saleens kicking a lot of ass this summer(unless they only have the 325 hp ones).

you guys can say what you want about that but the cobra and lightning round where i live would stomp any cobalt or srt-4 modded or not! THAT was not a cobra like it should be.

 

im not bashing either of the 2 cars i love them to death but cobras and lightnings are serious

 

'03-'04 cobra's are future collectibles..I guarantee it.

 

My cousin has a cobra hate the thing... i don't like mustangs or any ford of that matter.. my family jus haven't had alot of luck with those cars. but i'm not bashing on them they're great for what they can do but. to his own. ooo yea but a lightning....I'll buy in a heartbeat lol!

 

most mustangs are slow. But when they are built, they're a force to be reconed with.
