my 2.2 auto seems a bit faster then that.

We have been plaqued with issues. It pulls hard in passing gear, but thats it. If your not 100% in it, then your gonna get ran over. I understand it has 145 hp stock, its an auto, and its 4 door, but man talk about slow. I remember test driving it thinking well its a new car, thats all it had going for it. I didnt know about the 2.4 auto SS cars, or we would have gotten one of them. Honestly it was bought originally to replace our gas hog 2 door tahoe, with a 6" lift.

Im like 200 lbs and my wife is 115 I was the only one in the car. The only thing in the car is a car seat. Its just slow, always has been. Power did increase with the magniflow cat back and the drop in filter, but its still slow.

try the shift plus. it will launch you into your gears instead of what you feel now

There has always been issues with the tranny since day one. Luckly its been in 6 times, and if it does break, they have to fix it. I know if I shift it will scratch the tires. Right now if I power brake it, I dont even get a churp, It used to spin the tires. The tires are almost bald too. It just doesnt make alot of since.

What do ya mean by not 100% in it? I know with mine, if its a steep enough hill I gotta go half throttle plus because of having the 2.4 mani and losing that power down low. But even from dead stop n such it holds itts own.

If you watch the video its not pulling very hard at first, then I have to literally slam my foot through the floor to get it to go into passing gear, when it does, the mph picks up pretty fast, then back into OD and it goes back into granny mode.
