My car used to turn really nicely without needing much force bought the car used in august of this year (2022) and when I was doing door dash I saw the message power steering on my dash. Didn’t think much of it but then suddenly realized the wheel took more rotation to actually turn than it did today. I checked all the fuses and it does have power steering but just not as much resistant on the wheel as it used to have. I looked up electric power steering, there is ways to adjust them to said users likings but what happened to my cobalt? Why would the message come up and then everything be fine besides less tension on the wheel when driving

 

There was a recall for the power steering unit. But if yours was already done it could have gone bad.
