07 cobalt ls help plz

i just got a 07 cobalt ls monday and my fifth gear grinds a little when i shift to it, i got it when it had 25 miles on it, i was woundering should i call the place i got it or would it possibly be a new car problem that will work itself out. the cobalt is a 07 2dr manual 2.2l. i always heard it usuallly takes about 500 miles for the clutch to work itself in, but at 200 miles its still grinding a little bit. what is the best solution?

Are you fully engaging your clutch?

it could be your clutch fluid, floor mat, throw out bearing, but if it only happens in fifth im kinda skeptic. It might just be a winter thing.

thats what i was thinking about doing, i just needed to get some more information, i just figured that it was a new car thing that had to work itself out

i called them up and they said to drive it for a few more days and if it is still aacting up then to bring it in, which ill probably bring it in monday if it is still acting up, but hopefully it works itsself out but i just hate to keep driving it until that day because im risking tranny damage and clutch.

Do you have it completely in gear? I know this sounds like a stupid question but the only other manual I ever drove was a 6 speed camaro and the 5th and 6th gear were the same distance from 4th as 3rd is from 2nd...in the cobalt the 5th gear is waaaaaaay over to the right and the first time I shifted to 5th I let the clutch out way too early and that is ONLY time it grinded. I bought the car with 28 miles on it...I don't think it's something that needs to "work itself out."
