Got a 07 ss/sc with what seems to be a dead or dieing battery. Last weekend car would not turn over and no lights working when i went to start it after 3 days, and today my lights turn on and it just wont turnover.Seems like when i drive it daily it starts np but over 24 hours and she struggles.Should have seen this coming last 2 winters it started up without hesitation this year its been fightning to start but i thought it was because it was cold, till it died completely.

Car is 100% stock as far as electronics go but i am out of warranty .



Anyone happen to know of a good website where i can get a good battery for my car? or any recommendations for a new battery.

 

what do u mean by elictronics? do u have a system or is everything stock? if u have a system i would check your remote wire. turn off the car and look at your amp to see if it has power. if not i would say take it to wal mart or auto zone and see your crank amprege. if that not check alternator.....thats all i can think of

 

100% stock no system just the stock sound system.

 

I had to repace the battery in my 06 ss/sc last winter and the only parts store that had an exact replacement battery was o'reily but I think up in glen falls they might be called cks autoparts. It was the only place that had a direct fit battery or you could check with a chevy dealer. Sounds like you have a bad cell like I had.Had it tested at an Autozone and it passed OK but failed when tested at o'reily!
