08 Cobalt engine light.... misfire

I have a 08 SS TC. I did a quick search and looked for bulletins.. maybe not hard enough? But My engine light came on. I took it to the dealer. Had a misfire on 1 and 3. They did the update to the computer. But it still is showing a flashing engine light when i do a no-lift. it seems. Shifting at 5900-6000. I never had a problem with that before. What do you guys think? Does it take time to adjust.? Its got 2000 miles on it. Just was serviced. Thanks

How hot is your coolant temp if you are below 160 you are going to misfire

Theres something wrong with it. I don't know **** about these cars really but the dealer should know whats up with it. Just take it back since its under warranty.

I get really small amounts of misfires. like 1 or 2 every so often, but the computer resets them very quickly. Yours sounds like a really big issue. Dealer should not have returned it without it fixed.

if you have a flashing check engine light and your misfiring check your spark plugs they might be loose or blown out of its place i just had that happen to me so check that first

I suspect GM is going to void your warranty for using the no lift shift since you were "racing" the car.

there is another thread on here today about NLS when the car is not fully up to temperature. Make sure you are doing it when the car is over 180 degrees coolant temp. Then see if you still have the problem.
