2.2 INJEN short ram throws CEL

wtf i got this intake for my fdriend cuz everyone said it didnt throw a CEL, i had the car unplugged when i installed it, a week later he calld and sayed hes got a CEL

My K&N threw the CEL on my 2.0. The dealer reprogrammed for me for free so that the computer reads the upgrade.

mine is the shortram. it read a cell for maybe 48 hours and has since gone away. drove 9.5 hours to NH and back the next day to MD and no codes. give it some time!

and i never discounnted my battery...

i switched over to an aem dry flow filter a few days ago with my jbp intake, a day later it through the famous lean code, i cleared it hanst come back since.

yea you could jsut clear it as well. worked on my friends 2.2 and they never came back

his went off the next day, but how do u clear a code? my 02 sensor is still lean

the best way is to get a reader from pepboys or something, most of them clear codes as well. you could also just unplug the battery for a while and hope it clears.

o ok i thought u ment like permanantly clear, ya i know the batt trick and all, it just comes back
