Well have 3.5 years of abuse and 118k miles. Going from NA bolt ons to 2.8 pulley supercharged and now just converted to E85 for a whole 5 days she started knocking.

Stretched her legs on a nice LONG pull and started studdering and then the knocking came.

Pulled valve cover and everything was tight and intact. So wrist pin or rod bearing is what im thinking.

Sounds like as they say you pushed the envelope too far with the mods.

i just toasted mine too but it was a little worse. my motor had 207k on it and i ran it 85mph knowing it was 11k since the last oil change and probably low.... it was. im taking it apart today and seeing how bad it is. as it sits now im looking at rebuild kits or trying to find another motor.

 

wtf 11k since last oil change? I start getting like **** I needa change my oil as soon as it hits 3k lol
