2nd Gear issue

Everytime i attempt to shift into 2nd gear quickly after taking up first to about 5 rpm etc. It feels like there is a wall pushing back and it is very hard to get in usually i just let off and go to 3rd. And also during regular driving 2nd feels very unsmooth and rough to get into compared to the other gears.

Now is my linkage just off or something along the lines of that?

hopefully something as simple as the linkage.
with only that many miles and those basic mods, id run her in to the dealer for sure.
