I used to have a problem with 2nd popping out on me. 5 total trips to 2 different dealers in about a 7 month time frame and a mechanic finally said he was able to duplicate the problem. Adjusted the linkage and it's NEVER happened again since (been over a year).

 

i think that is the problem with most of us. the dealers aren't able to duplicate the probelm when we take are cars in so they can't work on them due to the rules of the warranty. i'm hoping that chevy will look at the problem at a nationwide level and in turn help out all of us. but thanks for the info. hopefully chevy will take notice and use your experience to help the rest of us.
