ABS light on....

I tried to read up and figure out what the hell is going on, but I dont really even know what im looking for.

I went to go grab a bite to eat and noticed when I pulled out my driveway that the "ABS" light on my dash was on, and I have no idea why. The car ran fine, but I noticed that it was running a little warmer than it normaly does, usualy is about 178-180, but was runnin at 188-190. Dont know if that has anything to do with the light, or just town driving in general.

Here is a pic of the light.

In most cases a wheel bearing(Hub) has to be replaced because the wheel sensor is buggered.

You could check the wiring for the wheel sensors at the hubs to make sure they are not shorted or the connector ie dirty etc.

So would it be alright to drive on for a bit, I would have to go home, about 100 miles, to get it checked out, or should I get it checked in here somewhere?

you should be ok to drive it but if you want to know what bearing it is you need an OBD2 scanner. than again it might not be a bearing, it might be something else, but a bearing is the most common! a OBDII scanner is also the only way to turn off the light im most cases.

I've had an ABS light for weeks. The TechII says it's my right rear wheel speed sensor. You'll be fine. My ABS still works, and believe me, i've used it.
