Absolutely Horrible Ride quality
Everyone talking down on any other spring other than yyz can leave lol because SSC and H&R are both reputable springs.
As for my car I put it on jacks to check everything out and discovered 2 things.. I have a tear in my brand new CV boot (**** my life I just replaced it a month ago) and my control arm bushings were WASTED tk the point where the center sleeve fell out of them as soon as I pulled them out. There was a quarter inch gap on all sides of the center sleeve allowing the control arm to go up and down smacking the subframe over even the smallest bumps. Pressed in new bushings and wala wayyy quieter.
I was not crazy I know how lowered cars ride and I'm really used to it but something wasnt right and I knew that. And trust me I know how to "drive a lowered car" lol. Glad everything is figured out tho and if anyone else has a decent amount of miles on stock bushings check them because I hear they go bad quickly and if they get to the point of mine you will definetly notice it when you replace them.
Thanks for everyone's input besides those saying all springs other than yyz suck.

I can agree with that, but I wouldnt call H&R or SSC springs cheap, Ive had H&R springs in the past on plenty of car's, they were an excellent ride. The cobalt naturally rides harsh, I have two cobalt's and the FE1 suspension is the worst out of all of them. Consequences of a cheap suspension setup, but easily and cheaply improved upon with the right aftermarket parts.
Maybe they are decent on other models, but not so much on Cobalts.
My car rides great with SS/TC struts, springs, and koni shocks.

Facts are facts, any aftermarket spring does not have the correct rate and there for allow for binding. You bitched about ride quality, and then claim you can drive a lowered car and bitch about hitting a bump and cracking your windshield. So 1+1=you can't drive a lowered car and came to the forums to bitch, grow up, if you want ride quality go to SS/TC or YYZs, if you want low then deal with the shitty ride quality. This is not an Audi or VW where H&R will actually spend money on development because they know they'll make the money make since most owners don't even blink at spending 2k on coils, cobalt owners bitch about spending 1.5k on coils
