Ive used both. It seemed AMSoil stayed clean longer but that could be placebo effect.

I get them at the same price

Been using amsoil since 15k with no issues. Now they make a 15k filter for the ecotec that I just changed and seemed to not crush and hold up for the duration. Car is clean and runs strong.

I have heard of this 15k mile claim. Do you really go 15k on a change. I knew they had said you could run the oil that long, but I was scared. In all honesty, I have been running mobil 1 syn since 00. I never ran it past 3k miles. I was short on cash as my bmws oil change was almost 60.00 to do it myself. I went 6k on it, and that was driving non stop for 24 hrs. The oil still looked good. I am sold that synthetic oil can last at least that long. Anyone have a link to running amsoil 15k miles? I am definitely interested. I can actually save money through my discount vs mobil 1.

Also, that number isn't showing up on the amsoil site.

I ran the 0w30 with the 15k filter for 15k and no issues. I don't have an analysis but oil looked the same as a 10k change. I was skeptical but bit the bullet. Just changed last weekend. I am sold.

It should. Same number for 2.0 and 2.2 etc. Use all uppercase. Look up your car by year etc. They also sell wix filters which ive also had good experience with.

I found it. Hopefully my connection can get it for me. It appears to be one the best built filters, that I have ever seen.

One year or 15k with their synthetic signature series. I'm running that right now, going to go to 5k-6k and get a UOA to see where its at

Checked my recycling for the box and the number is confirmed. It's the only one outside of wix and ac delco I've found that doesn't crush and seeing it withstood 15k service, I'm impressed.
