Annoying tire pressure sensor...

So the tire pressure gauge keeps illuminating in my cluster.. Any input? all tires are at correct psi.. starting to annoy me

you may have a faulty sensor... does it read right then go to some odd pressure then back? mine did that once... i had the dealership replace it under warranty with no issues... but it lit up my cluster too... just a thought

Um, on the rpd it would read 27 at the lowest then go up to 30 but the light will still be on.. then somedays it will shut off and not be on the whole day

fault sensor... coupled with a dying battery... best guess... i have no REAL solution for you

I have the same problem and have for months. It will go weeks if not months without a problem and then it just randomly ***** the bed and says service TPMS. Normally just prior to this the pressures drop steadily until it is completely offline. I suspect the sensor is failing but with winter coming I'm putting up with it until spring. I'm starting to question if it's not the sensor though because lately I've been getting reports to check my tire pressure and then it goes away in the same second and the pressures are reading fine when this happens.

If it's not the sensor I'd consider BCM but I guess getting the sensor swapped out first is a good option. I hate having my tires pulled and reinstalled though since they're in balance...

i had two sensors go... both replaced under warranty... same deal.. read really high pressure... then no pressure..

What pressure does your cars tag say to run your tires at? My car is supposed to be at 35psi. Unless your car is different, it sounds like the system is working correctly. You are getting close to 10 psi lower than recommended.
