Hopefully you will not be billed for this. Dealers charge a rediculous amount for the pump/sender unit.

This. Expect about $800-900 installed if they do.

Bumping this...who all got their pump replaced with the recall? I had my car in this weekend for something else and they went ahead and replaced my fuel pump. I had not been having any of the symptoms described in the recall though. However, now my supposedly brand new fuel pump is quite loud. Not as bad as some aftermarket units I've heard on other cars, but it's very noticeable when the car is idling. Never heard the old one at all. Curious if anyone else has noticed their pump humming.

Got my letter last month and took it in because I smelt gas in my garage. Wasn't sure if it was my car or truck, they said it was fine. Not sure if I really believe that
