So just starting my moding by putting on my shorty antena and my strut bar. went to install the shorty and i could not get the antena to come off. more or less stripped the whole bottom of the antena tryign to get it to come off. in the end went to the dealership since they told me they have a tool to get it off easily and that they would do it for free. go there and they tell me no special tool just plyers and vis grips. nothing worked so was told to come back tomorrow which was fine. then went and tried to install the strut bar, nice easy install. well one of the bolts was on so tight that it broke the god dam strut tower bushing. bring it in today and they replace the antena for me for free but they charge me $301.50 for replacing the bushing and i had a light out. i dont have warrenty so i get raped



wow for easy mods i had a ******* expencive day.

i replaced my strut mount for 49 dollars, and having never done it in my life it took about 40 minutes take it as a learning lesson that if you don't have a warranty, you NEVER, NEVER go to the dealer for anything.

 

wow. you need to make friends with a local mechaninc and have them do your fixing. the dealership is gonna rape you to no end

 

Ouch Greg...ya never bring it to the dealer again...they rape you there unless its under warranty!!
