Battery Terminal Issues?

Is Anyone else having issues with their battery terminals failing? The design on these things are so horrible! How the helll can you expect to just drop a ring on a battery and hope it makes a good connection

Mine frequently drops the connection upon startup, which, in turn, locks my key in the ignition and prohibits me from opening the trunk in any way. I know there is a TSB out for this issue, but I have a feeling the dealer will point to the wiring for my subwoofer and say "Gah, aftermarket accessorie! These definitely caused the corrosion!!"

I currently have to leave one seat unlocked so that if the car loses connection during startup, i can climb into the trunk and tap the terminal to get power again.

Any sugeestions?
