Big Problem with Cobalt

Theres this noise coming from my heater, so there replacing my fan. hahahah I love this car, no problems other than cosmetic crap like chrome messing up and cloth separating. Lately ive been driving this car to the max in 32 degrees, I love my cobalt =)

i here ur pain my heater went in march and is going again and then a rim was bent when i got the car so the balance was off and caused my tires to wear to bald by 20,000 miles , brakes thump when i apply them, then a plug on the trans. when bad had to replace that " and i got to car in feb of o6 "peace of **** caviler on steroids,with a new name"

what kind of sound? Did it sound like the fan was hitting a piece of paper repeatedly? My cobalt and colorado do that sometimes, then again my ford ranger did that so sometimes

Yeah Ive had the same sound in mine sometimes. It sounds like the fans hitting something small. Ive been wondering too what it is.

It sounds like a rattle or almost like a fast cricket, its so annoying, they said its the fan so there replacing that..... I had the brake problem too, they said my rotors were uneven and they resurfaced them

That ticking or clicking noise from the blower motor is usually a leaf that got into the case and is in contact with the blower cage. Only way to get 'em out is to replace the blower, too.
