black smoke

yeah, the car was sittin for couple days. In the rain. So i went to start it up today and my bro was standen right behind. started up fine. so i let it warm up alittle. revd the engine (after it had warmed up) im little of a show boat. Revd it and saw all this black smoke come out. so i got out to look and my bro revd it. And all this carbon started splating out. so i figure if there was some carbon in the system it just needed to be driven. so i to it out drove it on the free way. found and empty road and got into it. it excellerates fine, shifts fine. no back fire during the engine winding down, nor during shifts. shes not burning anything as far as i can tell. This just because it was sitting for a few days, or somthing to look out for?

This is actually pretty common. I have seen brand new stock ones do it if they sit for a while but it usually goes away once they warm up.

I did autocross this weekend with open downpipe. I would bang off the limiter in first and black smoke galore! I was throwing a lean code too.....
