so since the winter months have come i have started using my heat more and more so i lately i have heard this squeaking noise whenever i turn the blower motor on. so i decided to climb into the passenger seat and check the blower motor and take it down and clean it out but theirs no place i could find to take it appart to take it down and clean it out. jw if you guys knew or had the same problem or knew anything please let me know its realll annoying

 

i've had it replaced in both of my cobalts and it still does it in my ss. they just have crappy bearings. and mine only does it on low speed.

 

mine just keeps getting louder as the speeds keep going up but its good to know im not the only one

 

mine was noisey too when cold.

 

Mine gets squeeky and loud sometimes. More when it is cold for sure.

 

To take it out you have to cut the case. Pretty stupid system if you ask me but yeah. I had my fan replaced and it said right on my RO that they cut the case. Checked the service manual (Mitchells) and its actually how its supose to be done.

 

well cutting the case just sounds rediculous and for some reason i turned on the heat the other day and now its gone for now lol
