Boost Gauge not working.

Just picked up a 2005 SS/SC last night. So far everything is great except for the boost gauge. It doesn't read at all, and is stuck on -15 or something. It is as if the gauge isn't hooked up at all. I took the pillar off and everything seems to be plugged in pretty solid, and nothing seems to be unplugged under the hood either. Before i take it to the dealership i want to make sure its not something simple like a fuse or something. Any ideas? Is there a separate fuse for the boost gauge? I did not see one anywhere.

Alright, yea. I was planning on taking it in to get fixed under the warranty, but didn't want to waste my time if it was something simple. Doesn't sound like it is though.

Did the dealership replace somthing? Do the wipers work? If not Check the 10amp WPR fuse #15 on the bcm. Ther is a panel on the right passenger side of the center console under under the radio you need to remove to get to the bcm. Its held in with push clips and the bcm is right behind it.

If the fuse was blown then the gauge wouldn't have power te needle is moves
by the ecu it has a pig signal so the gauge is bad I say go with a mechanical gauge

It's probably the gauge itself. I bought my 06 ss/sc and the gauge lit up, but didn't move. Replacing it takes like 5 mins.

Windshield wipers work, and i checked the 15 & 16 fuses (16 said boost on it) and they are both fine. Considering the gauge lights up still, i am going to agree that the gauge is bad and needs to be replaced. I'll take it to the dealership and see if they can just give me a new one under warranty instead of install it for me. Thanks for the help guys.

The Lights for the gauge are on a differnt fuse and circuit than the control for the gauge.
But it probably is a bad gauge

Do you happen to know which fuse the control for the gauge is on? It is worth a try before i spend all of convincing the dealership that this should be fixed under the warranty.

The boost gauge lights should be on the Int lamp fuse. And according to the schematics the control circuit is powered by the WPR fuse.
