Brake Question

My brakes started wailing when I go in reverse, or roll back in neutral. What does this sound usually mean is wrong? and Is it covered by warranty. 2008 SS/SC

Couple of things wrong here.

First

This should be in the suspension section

Second

There is no such thing as a 2008 SS/SC

Third

It is normal and nothing to be concerned with.

And isnt this the problems section,Where you would post problems you have.

there are no parking brake shoes in an ss, they use the caliper, actuated by a cable, for the parking brake.

mine started doing that to now since its been cold and wet, and now with all the road grime. after a couple stops it clears up.

if it is the brakes, they won't be covered by warranty, brakes are never covered
