Yea... Yesterday I noticed that the little piece on top of the shifter was loose. After investigating I found two of three of the plastic insert clips broke I dunno if I'm gonna take it in to the dealer to get fixed or just epoxy it back on so I dont have to worry about it ever again. Or atleast until I get a short shifter.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

 

if you take it to the dealer they will just give you a new shifter. They did that for me when my pattern broke but my ball also broke off the shifter two days later. Perhaps a sign of a greater issue

you CAN NOT get just that plastic pice

the dealer will eather epoxy it on or if they want replace your shifter...

save yourself a trip and glue it in

 

that sucks..but if u want a new shifter out of it bring it tot he dealer...

 

Happened to me, then the knob itself came off a couple of times. Took it for replacement and 0 problems since.

 

Sweet guys thanks for the help. I'm gonna see how well the knob is stayin on. If it gives I'm probably gonna take it in.

 

happened to me and now the wait begins fora back ordered shifter... plus some ass clown put nails in my tires "two of the most expensive tires ive ever bought" god better keep this bastard far away from me
