Broken coil pack stud! FML!

Hey guys. Let me begin by saying I did a search for this issue, but came up empty.

Today, being a warm sunny spring day, I decided to change out my factory installed plugs. My car is just about to turn over 90K kilometres and is running great, but I figured it was time for some fresh sparkers. Anyways long story short, the swap went fine, until I was reinstalling the coil packs. The stud for the coil pack on cyl #2 snapped off down in the threads.... I wasn't over tightening it, it just let go.
Anyways I guess my question is, am I now headed to the dealership with a bag of cash, or is there some way to drill the broken stud out?
Thanks for any advice guys.

You can get reverse drill bits or an easy out which you drill out the middle of the bolt then use the easy out to back the broken bolt out

Yeah I was thinking that but the stud broke off down in the hole where I can't see it. I'm hoping the ez out tool is long enough. Thanks.

How many threads do you have up top? isn't it a bolt that holds the coils down? If you have enough threads left replace with a stud nut combo

Yes it's a bolt. My apologies. And after fighting with it for almost 2 hrs I was finally able to twist it back out using two dental picks. Thanks for the help guys.

Congrats I'd be so pissed if something like that happened. Although I have another valve cover in my garage.
