Burning oil

Hey guys its been awhile so ive ran into some problems with the balt i ran a compression test and from cylinders 1-4 118psi 70psi 130psi 170psi I know this isnt right. I had my whole cylinder 4 spark plug filled wIth oil. Im thinking head gasket but possibly new rings just looking for input

spark plug well filled with oil is valve cover gasket. bad compression is likely ringland or valve seals. you can do a leakdown test to see what it is. doubtful it's the head gasket but you can test for hydrocarbons in your coolant for that.

valve seals have nothing to do with retaining cylinder pressure

agreed. oil consumption combined with low compression numbers points to bad ring sealing.
