Bypass Valve Sticking

i have an 09 SS/TC today it was about 85 and really humid out and i had been driving for an or so then got out for about 10 min then got back in and started driving but my car was getting stuck around 5-8 lbs of boost instead of my normal 20 and it didnt sound right it had a nasty loud weird blow off sound then it stopped 5 min later any ideas on what it was my guess would be a sticking BPV since ive herd that can happen in hot weather?? help plzz

Doubt it's BPV. Check all pipes/IC and lines. Any mods?

ya i got a k & n short ram and injen IC pipes and they were all tight it wasnt them cause ive had them pop off and this was way diffierent

disconnect your purge solenoid, if it goes back to normal there you go. Mine just went out had the same problem, would boost 4=6 lbs, disconnected it, and its back to normal. Had no cel either.

well my new one is on order, there 24 bucks from the dealer or 12 bucks on ebay.. lucky for me the dealer didnt have it in stock, and its a holiday weekend lol

you will throw a code if it get's stuck
