A/C question
A/C question
Okay, this is kinda oddball.
When your A/C is on, normally you can see the clutch on the compressor start spinning and when it's turned off, you can tell that it's free-wheeling... on the compressor on our cars, is that true?
background: drove all the way home today with the A/C switch off. but the recirculate and blower on... with in a few minutes the car was ICE cold... i'm thinking that my AC isn't ever turning off.

Thats not true. My parents have an 06 Ion, and when you have the fan on with the resirculate button and NO ac button the air will eventually get hot and muggy.
