So I've had this rattle coming from the fan under our glove box for quite some time now. The car is under warranty, but the dealership sucks and I don't feel like taking it in. Any idea what it could be?

 

What year and model do you have?

 

Someone dropped a coin down the defrost slot in the dash !
A screw could be in there right from day one from when it was assembled.

 

Mine does the same thing. Theres a bunch of post floating around out there, I havn't looked in a while to see if we found a fix. The next warm day im taking the glove box out and getting to the botton of it. It's annoying, when I puch the gas, it goes away, let off, and it comes back. So for now I'll just keep the radio turned up

 

i had the same problem with mine it was a bad fan motor they fixed it for free

 

Yah mine mainly does it when i'm coming off the gas it is quit annoying.

I have an 07 ss/sc. I'm not sure what the heck is going on. Is there something I can do? It just comes and goes.
