Update took the car out tonight and when I down shift the wide band shoots from 13 to -- back and forth. It either goes into fuel cutout after a second or two or it keeps doing that until it catches itself around 2k rpm or so. When the wideband shoots back and forth this is when the misfires occur.

a hardcode is stored in the system, if the cel flashes its good to look more into as you have been doing as its happening at that moment. the hard code can be cleared but when it comes back it just stores without a cel

if you have the AEM wideband it is common to move back and forth like that

I know you see the misfire code on the Interceptor but is the ses light on solid as well?
Does the ses light start flashing when you decel?
If no to both quite clearing the code because you are resetting you drive cycles and that's what they will fail you on.
If know ses light is on you should be good to go,but find some one with a code reader that checks drive cycles as well .My code reader is not to expensive and it shows if the drive cycles are ready with I think three green lights on it.

^ bingo. yes 60's have known cause an issue at idle but mostly for to much fuel and once tuned right for the car it run's with no issues really. Never herd of them causing a misfire unless incorrect plug's/gap were being used and if your fouling plug's then there is your issue IMHO.

Idle isn't the issue. My tuner has gotten in contact with me and is going to do what area47 said. The car runs with no issues it just throws that code. Like I said I can't feel hear or tell when it's missing but the computer does. I've tried every gap from .030-.038 bkr7e's and I still get misses on decel maybe I need to try another type of plug idk. I'm just going to do a highway run where I know it won't miss and try and get a sticker. Thanks for the help everyone

the scaling i use for 60's doesn't cause misfires. before i did the cams long ago, i never had to soften the misfire tables up to compensate for crap scaling.

Thanks for the info Area. Much appreciated. I spent last week reading up on your old posts about cams and the different stuff you did. Definitely some good info in there even though it was 4 years ago lol. Learned a few things by going back a few years and reading up on it.
